Polka Dot Design is happy to offer services to help make planning for your event easier and less stressful.
Sample Requests
We offer samples for most of the products on our website. We recommend purchasing samples prior to placing an order so that you can receive a physical card to view the size, color, paper weight and overall design of the card in person. Samples start at $2.50 each and are mailed through the United States Postal Service. Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your samples. Some samples will ship to you directly from the manufacturer's facility. You may receive samples in several different shipments.
We offer sample packs for our line of Exclusive Digital products. Sample packs are available for each category of our Exclusive Collection. The sample pack may not include the exact design you are considering, but we recommend ordering a sample pack so you can view the paper color, cardstock weight, digital printing technique and overall quality of our digital products in person prior to placing your order. The sample pack will include the various items available for the category of products you are selecting - invitation/announcement, photo card, note card, flat note, calling card, various sticker sizes, etc. Click here to view the categories and specific products included in each sample pack. Exclusive sample packs will be mailed from our location in Texas. Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your samples through the U.S. Postal Service.
You can order samples online by selecting the "Buy Sample" button under the quantities and pricing box on the product information page for each item. You may order as many samples as desired. Sample orders exceeding $10.00 will be charged a shipping fee of $5.00 to cover additional shipping charges.
Early Envelopes
We are happy to provide early envelopes for birth announcement orders; however, due to our quick processing times, we do not offer early envelopes for other orders. To request early envelopes for your birth announcements, please type in at the top of the personalized text box on the order form "Early Envelopes". There will be an additional shipping charge of $5.00, and the envelopes will be sent via UPS Ground. If you would prefer a faster shipping method, please contact us (additional charges will apply for expedited shipping of early envelopes). We will get your envelopes shipped within 2-4 business days. Then, when your baby has arrived, you can provide all of the details for the announcement and we will proceed through the proofing process with you.
Assembly
Some products on our website may include extra pieces or may be offered with an optional embellishment that needs to be assembled. This might be a ribbon or bow, glitter or topper piece. If these items are ordered blank, they will arrive to you unassembled so that you can print the cards yourself and then add the extra piece. If you order these items custom printed, there is an option on the order form to have us assemble your cards for you. There is an additional fee for this service, and adding this option may increase your in-house processing time by 1-2 business days. The assembly requirements and other details will be listed in the product information.
Reorders
If you have placed an order with us that has already left our facility, but you need additional cards, please call our customer service department to place a reorder. A reorder will automatically reference your original proof, so you do not have to enter your personalized text or go through the proofing process again. When you call, please reference your original order number, and one of our representatives can place a reorder for you and take your payment information by phone. We will do our best to print and ship your reorder as quickly as possible. The in-house processing time for a reorder is the standard 3-5 business days.
Reprints
If you have placed an order with us that has already been printed and left our facility, and you realize there was an error in your text or you need to make changes to your text, please call our customer service department to place a reprint. We may be able to offer a discount on a reprint, and a representative will be happy to reference your original proof and submit the changes you need. We will go back through the proofing process with you to ensure your new information is correct. We will do our best to print and ship your reprint as quickly as possible. The in-house processing time for a reprint is the standard 3-5 business days.
