Polka Dot Design is an online stationery company. We carry about 20 of the leading manufacturers in the stationery industry along with our own exclusive line of products. We work with customers from around the country to provide blank or customized invitations, announcements, wedding programs and other stationery.

Job Description
Polka Dot Design is looking for student interns in their third or fourth year studying graphic design, interior design, advertising or marketing. In this position, interns will be exposed to a variety of tasks and will gain experience in a broad range of graphic art skills, including typography, layout, web design principles and branding awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with customers over the phone taking orders for items such as personalized invitations and announcements and product samples

Place outgoing calls to customers when the order is questionable, reminding customers to view their invitation proof, and to notify customer when products are on backorder.

Assists customers with placing online orders, accessing their online proof, changes to their order, and tracking their order once it's shipped.

Resolves customer complaints and requests for refunds, exchanges, and adjustments.

Provides customers with information concerning prices, shipping time, and products.


Detailed Oriented.

Demonstrated computer proficiency with the ability to maneuver and navigate between screens and programs.

Type 40 – 50 WPM.

Verbal and written communications skills are essential.

Must have professional and friendly speaking voice.

Having the ability to communicate with a variety of customers throughout the nation.
